Neopost Wins Blood Drive Recognition Award

Recognized by California State Assembly for Life-Saving Donations

Neopost, the worldwide provider of mailing, addressing, document handling and mail management systems, announces that the company has received the 2003 Outstanding Achievement Award for hosting the most productive blood drives among companies with 250-499 employees.   The honor, which was bestowed by the California State Assembly and the Blood Centers of the Pacific, recognized organizations that "take time out of their busy lives to help respond to a critical need in our community."

Lynette Donahue, Neopost's executive assistant to the President and CEO, stated, "It was quite an honor to receive this award, as there were many companies our size having blood drives in the Bay Area, and it was moving to hear personal stories at the ceremony about how blood donations saved lives. We'd like to thank all of our employees who participated in these extremely worthwhile events."

Since 1999, Neopost has donated 273 pints of blood to the Blood Centers of the Pacific.   Neopost held six blood drives over the course of 2003 with a very high degree of employee participation. Donahue has high hopes for the same level of participation and commitment in 2004.
