Neopost's New SI76 Folder Inserter Improves Document
Processing for Mid-Volume Mailers
Quiet, compact tabletop processes complex documents for billing, collections,
marketing and payroll, and sets new standards for simple operation and efficiency.
HAYWARD, Calif., January 16, 2002 - Neopost Inc. (www.neopostinc.com), a
worldwide leader in mailing, addressing, document handling and logistics systems, today
introduces the SI76 tabletop folder inserter system. Designed for use in large offices or
mailrooms, the SI76 is compact, quiet, and easy to use, yet includes a unique combination
of advanced features not available even in large production systems.
Neopost's SI76 folder inserter can be programmed to handle complex jobs, such as
payroll processing and financial statements, or casual users with very little training can
use it to simply fold and insert letters into envelopes at the touch of a button. The SI76
handles a wide variety of documents, including standard letters, invoices, reply envelopes,
cards, small booklets and pre-folded flyers. It can tri-fold and insert up to eight sheets of
paper into an envelope, which nearly doubles the industry standard for mid-volume folder
inserters. It processes up to 60,000 mail pieces per month.
“Neopost designed the SI76 to be the ultimate folder inserter for mid-volume mailers who
have a wide variety of applications and process between up to 60,000 mail pieces per
month,” said Bob Ruby, Neopost's document handling product manager. “It's the most
versatile folder inserter on the market, and also the most secure, because it uniquely
checks for correct document thickness at the feed stations and at the point of insertion.
With this feature, mailers can be sure that business-critical documents such as statements
and invoices are accurately inserted every time.”
