Position: Sales and Marketing Events Specialist
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Marketing Operations
Department: Marketing
Location: Neopost, Inc. Corporate Headquarters

The Sales and Marketing Events Specialist responsibilities are to:

  • Plan, define, coordinate and administer the sales incentives and marketing programs
  • Plan and coordinate participation to industry trade shows
  • Plan, define and execute internal events; sales kick-off, road-shows

Sales Incentives

  • Work closely with Branch and Dealer Sales Vice Presidents to define the themes and rules of the sales incentives and to communicate them to the sales force.
  • Define methods to track, report and communicate year to date rankings and top performers of the branch and dealer channels
  • Work closely with external event management vendors to coordinate the implementation and execution of the programs (transportation vendors, incentive agencies)
  • Prize ordering, vendor billing and distribution of all rewards to branches and dealers
  • Coordination with external agency of flights and hotel accommodation

Tradeshows:

  • Plans and coordinates all logistics activities
  • Work closely with product marketing to ensure all products are available, shipped and positioned properly at shows
  • Organize staffing and shipping of equipment, supplies and giveaways
  • Leads cross-functional team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Personally manages events on-site
  • Schedule and arrange shipping of tradeshow booths
  • Manages leads collected during tradeshow and ensures follow-up on leads

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing
  • 5 years of experience in organizing events and sales incentive programs
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels including Executive Staff
  • Lead and manage transversal teams
  • Must maintain tight deadlines
  • Travel to be a minimum 20%

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Manages Performance Effectively - achieves results through others
