Title: HR Specialist
Location: Hayward, CA

Neopost, Inc., a leader in mailing, document handling and mail management systems for the B2B market is currently looking for a dynamic HR Specialist with mastery skills in HRIS to join their team. This position will report to the SR Benefits Analyst.

Summary Description:
The HR Specialist is an integral part of a seasoned team of HR professionals and ensures the timely processing of department and ad hoc reporting, handles vendor relations and employee recognition programs. Also, works on projects related to HR applications and benefits programs.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for all areas of HRIS data entry, including enrollments, status changes and terminations
  • HRIS maintenance (i.e. File Carrier Uploads and Reporting)
  • Management reporting (i.e. ad hoc, headcount and turnover reporting)
  • Producing organizational charts and spreadsheets.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of benefit billing and auditing
  • Processing benefit paperwork
  • Manage company service award programs
  • Managing vendor relationship with Ceridian
  • Personnel file maintenance
  • Administering and monitoring unemployment claims
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • 5+ years of HRIS and benefits related experience
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State benefit related laws (i.e. HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, IRS Section 125 compliance)
  • Knowledgeable of various computer programs such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proven database management experience in Ceridian 1.0 or related systems (i.e. Esource or ADP Enterprise)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superb customer service experience essential
  • Deadline driven attitude and follow-up skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data, sensitive issues, documents, conversations, etc.
  • Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to manipulate data and perform accurate analysis

Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 and competitive benefits package
