"When the purchasing department didn't have the resources to contact
all our locations to gather information, Neopost's people were willing
to step in and help. For that kind of relationship to exist between
a vendor and a buyer, a lot of mutual trust and confidence is required,"
he adds.
Radford notes, "In some instances, the cost of the equipment was
greater than the amount we were spending on mailing and shipping.
Because our vendor contact had previously been sales oriented, the
focus was directed to the purchase rather than the purpose."
Radford says, "I've received nothing but positive feedback from
the test sites. They are very pleased with the equipment, and many
are saving money. Our experience with Neopost has emphasized the
advantages of looking at alternatives and reconsidering purchasing
strategies. With the large number of locations we have, and our
wide range of needs, we can't afford to be complacent."
